Our mission: We are committed to providing Teen and Adult students with a professionally presented Classroom, Behind-the-Wheel (BTW), and Road Skills Test (RST) experience, and in doing so, equipping him or her to safely and courteously navigate various types of roadways in area parishes and cities in Louisiana and where ever the road ahead may lead them!

KATHY DILLARD
Kathy Dillard began teaching as an extension of her career in nursing which began in 1996. As an LPN and later as an RN, her many patients benefitted greatly from her Christian-rooted, and personable touch. She has trained countless students in health and safety, including as a Practical Nursing instructor in the Louisiana Community and Technical College System (2003-2010, Minden Campus), Early Childhood Health and Safety Trainer (LDOE), Train-the-Trainer instructor (LA Department of Health), and Adjunct instructor in grants and community education programs with ULM-Monroe, LSU-Shreveport, NSU-Shreveport and BPCC. "Mrs. Kathy" to her Driver's Ed students, became passionate about working with teenagers while employed as a School Nurse with Bossier Parish Schools (2010-2018).
"Since opening Northwest Driving Academy (Benton Rd, Bossier City) in August 2017, we have maintained a 5-Star rating with our Adult and Teen customers (and their parents). I'm proud of that accomplishment! We are committed to preparing our students to "Come home safely EACH AND EVERY DAY and we look forward to continuing to provide excellent and professional training in the coming years", ~Kathy Dillard.
