***Reminder:  Parents/Legal guardians of students who have completed NW Driving Academy's Teen Permit Driver Education Course: 

During the 50 hours of supervised driving, please ensure that your student continues to practice the driving skills as they have been taught.  The Road Skills Test is an assessment of the skills they have previously learned in class and behind-the-wheel.

Note: 

• Must have held the Teen Permit for 180 days
• Driven 50 hours (15 at night) with parent or other qualified, licensed driver
• Be at least 16 years old​​

What you will need to bring with you to your ROAD TEST: 
1.  Your Teen Permit  or TIP Card
2. Your Road Test Fee (Cash ONLY)
3. Minors:  Parent/legal guardian (will need to complete and sign the Road Skills Test application)

Our Road Skills Test (RST) is approved by the State of Louisiana's to test Driving Student's ability to perform driving skills in a safe manner.  The Goal of our In-class and Behind the Wheel methods of specialized instruction is "Quick-study for Long term Retention" so that students will be prepared to PASS the Road Test and Drive the Roadways Safely. 

Parent Supervised practice for Teens (and other Driver's Permit holders): 
Student between the ages of 15-17 and Adult students who need Additional Supervised practice will be provided with feedback and guidance to continue practicing the skills necessary to Drive effectively and safely so they can return to NW Driving Academy when eligible based on State guidelines, to take the Road Skills Test.
